Michelle Obama makes lasting fashion statement as she steps out in a $4,000 glittery thigh-high Balenciaga boots and yellow gown

Michelle Obama commanded attention last night as she arrived onstage at the Brooklyn Barclay’s Center with Sarah Jessica Parker to discuss her book Becoming.

The former first lady who took plenty of fashion risks during her tenure as First Lady and even more following the end of her tenure, took her fashion game several notches higher as she made an appearance on the final stop of her book tour where she was interviewed by Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker.

She had on $4,000 glittery thigh-high Balenciaga boots and a striking yellow dress that is from Balenciaga’s Spring/Summer 2019 ready-to-wear collection that is not yet available.

The event saw the Barclays Center in Brooklyn fully occupied. During the event in the packed out venue, Obama talked about the decisions behind the outfits she wore that made headlines during her time as first lady.
